description

DBP is an antioxidant that is used in the treatment of oxidative injury. It has been shown to be effective against a broad range of bacterial pathogens, including E. coli, S. aureus, and P. aeruginosa; DBP also prevents the development of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strains by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacterial cells. DBP protects against phthalate toxicity by preventing the oxidation of free radicals and the formation of lipid peroxides; DBP can also be used to monitor blood pressure in patients with hypertension as it helps to regulate vascular tone and blood pressure by regulating intracellular calcium levels; the basic protein domains are involved in signal transduction pathways that regulate cell growth and proliferation, apoptosis, and differentiation
